Memorial Day Parade & Memorial Service

Lest We Forget... 3 simple words, yet they stand for something so important. For over 50 years, organizations throughout the country have dedicated their time to honor the memory of those that have served in the defense of our country. The Derby-Shelton Memorial Day Parade Association is one of these organizations.

Every year this organization conducts a memorial service to honor those who have served. There is a special part of the ceremony during which the name of each Veteran who has passed during the year is honored and a red carnation is presented to their family.
